Pat and his team did an extraordinary job on our new patio! We had a very standard small deck in our backyard and they transformed it into a wonderful outdoor living area with a large paver patio and new landing for the steps into the house. Pat was very thorough in his communications with us and they completed the project in a short amount of time. They were very tidy as well, cleaned up each night and made sure the fencing was replaced so our dogs wouldn’t get out. We will likely be adding on more features over the next couple years and will absolutely be calling Pat back for future projects! We’ve highly recommend Earthly Possibilities Landscaping for any of your outdoor projects!

We needed help with our backyard with project design and implementation. Patrick and Cody were the best at giving us ideas as well as a timeline for implementation. They always showed up on time and worked hard to install our beautiful back yard with pavers, fire pit, outdoor fountain, limestone rock to contain river rock, and decorative rocks with landscaping plants and lighting. We would recommend Earthy Possibilities to anyone looking to improve their yard.

Pat and Cody make a great team, keeping it light but professional and doing great work. Our project was not overly complicated, but the large variation in grade forced some flexibility on their part as it progressed. They made sure everything worked out right and even replaced some grass seed washed away by mother nature. Quality work with quality materials; will hire again for any future projects needing professional experience.
Pat and Cody did an excellent job installing our paver patio and walkway as well as preparing and planting a flower garden. They both have wonderful personalities and are easy to work with during planning and construction. I highly recommend them for your landscaping or hardscaping needs.
We highly recommend Earthly Possibilities to anyone who is looking to hardscape. Pat was able to come up with a wonderful design after listening to what we wanted and worked in conjunction with us to construct a fabulous addition to the front of our house. Pat was tremendous with his input and explaining the options we had and what he would be able to do. His crew completely transformed the front of our house, and made an area that we can enjoy a very special place. From removing the bushes and concrete walkway in front to building the hardscape, their work was impeccable as was their cleanup after the job was completed. They even did little things like helping to dig up some plants we weren’t able to transfer yet and helped to keep them viable. We could not be happier. Pat, the owner, was spot on with his suggestions and incorporating what we wanted into a fabulous front addition that we truly love. We highly, highly recommend that you contact Pat if you are looking at adding a deck or outside patio or an outdoor entertainment area. We were originally debating whether a deck or a hard scape area would be best for us. We couldn’t be happier with our decision.
Earthly Possibilities came to build a new retaining wall after the old wood wall was rotting and collapsing. In 4 days they had the old out and the new wall built. Everything was cleaned up and put back in place. Excellent work and would highly recommend them. God bless you for a job well done!!

They created the solution to the existing issues, planned out the project, presented a professional proposal, completed the project in a very timely manner, and stayed on budget. We recently had a backyard landscape design and install completed by Earthly Possibilities and we are very satisfied with the end result! Pat was extremely easy to work with, professional, and communicative. He took all of the ideas and thoughts I had on the vision of our space and really made that come to life. Installing our outdoor kitchen by Earthly Possibilities was a great experience from start to finish, they more than exceeded our expectations. The process began with a thorough consultation where they really listened to our ideas and came up with a well designed plan. The team was great. They were respectful, communicated along the way and cleaned up each night before leaving. The materials used were top notch and our kitchen turned out better than we expected. Highly recommend!
Pat and his team did a fantastic job on our 400 sqft patio using Unilock Westport pavers. The quality of the work is awesome and they cleaned up the area perfectly when done. I would highly recommend them for your outdoor living space work!

From start to finish Earthly Possibilities listened, answered questions, and delivered. Pat was easy to work with. Being from Florida and knowing very little about Iowa landscaping, he was a tremendous help. He did it all prior to me arriving in Iowa. I now have a “sweet” Iowa yard.

This was my first landscaping and hardscaping project. I had no idea what to expect. A few months after moving into our newly built home, I responded to a prospecting mailer from Earthly Possibilities. Pat and Cody were consultative, cost-conscious, thorough, and hands-on throughout the process. Most important, they were honest and upfront. Thumbs up on the end result, too!
Excellent experience! We compared a few vendors and were very happy with our choice to go with Earthly Possibilities. They seemed to offer the best option for our project needs, concerns and temperament. Our project included custom stone edging and rock beds around the house perimeter, a custom backyard fire pit, decorative large boulders a variety of plants throughout - from grass, to shrubs and trees) Areas we were most impressed with were: 1. Expertise - They were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the products and process and took time to answer all of our questions. 2. Experience and workmanship - Their years of experience was clear from the examples/pictures they shared from past projects, and in the quality of their workmanship. 3. Attitude and personality - They were always friendly, upbeat and personable. 4. Commitment to the project - We were astounded at their dedication to working through the project - even in some very harsh weather conditions. And no aspect was ever rushed to get through it. We would definitely use Earthly Possibilities for any future project and will certainly recommend them to friends and family in the area for any landscaping projects they may be exploring.

Pat & Cody did a fantastic job on our new patio. From the initial site visit, patio design, through construction, Pat & Cody were professional and communicative. Pat made sure he encompassed our vision and provided us with several designs at different price points. He met with us to pick out the colors to make sure it was what we were aiming for. Overall, a great experience and a professional, courteous job.
A great experience and everything you could ask for. Likable, professional, fast, responsive, did what they said they would do when they said they would do it and easy, enjoyable people to work with. I have some experience doing similar, smaller scale jobs on my own and the work quality is good.
Pat and Cody were very kind and professional to work with. They did a quality job on our patio, firepit, and outdoor grill area. They designed a great grill space for a gas grill and kamado smoker to sit under a pergola. They worked with the granite team to make sure the custom fit for the smoker was just right. They'll be back in the spring to finish the pergola... everything else looks great so far and we would highly recommend them to anyone.
Pat has done several projects for us and we've been very pleased with each of them. He's very meticulous, so quality of work is excellent. Would certainly use him again!
Pat & Cody with Earthly Possibilities did an amazing job with my backyard. It had steep hills with a dry wash at the bottom. Between that & the overgrowth it was extremely difficult to mow. They presented a solution & created a gorgeous patio & retaining wall, complete with a stepping stone path across. Their work is exemplary & their attitudes are warm yet professional.
Pat and his team just finished a patio and fire pit project in our backyard. We are really, really happy with the results. At the beginning of the process, Pat took time to meet with us and listen to what we hoped for in the end. He came up with a thoughtful and beautiful design. When we saw it we knew we wanted him to do our project. He even drew in some landscaping that we were going to do at a later time, but when we saw the design we decided to do it all because it looked so nice. When they came to actually do the project, we were so impressed. Cody, his foreman, was meticulous in his work and the stonework is beautiful. All of the guys were really hard workers. They didn’t rush just to get the job done but really invested themselves in doing it right. I loved that they cleaned up at the end of each day. When the project was all done, they restored the grass and left everything looking nice and clean. I don’t have even one thing to say that they could improve upon. We were completely satisfied with the whole process from start to finish.
